How does the free trial work?
Create an account and you're in: 60 days, no card, on your real projects. That's long enough to run a real claim cycle, quote to payment. Prefer a guided look first? Book a 30-minute demo against a job you're running. After the trial, plans start at AU$129 per month (ex GST) with unlimited users. Month to month, cancel anytime. One trial per workspace.
How does pricing work? What counts as an active project?
One flat monthly price based on how many projects you're running at once: up to 5 on Starter, up to 20 on Builder, unlimited on Scale. An active project is one you're currently delivering; completed and archived projects don't count toward your limit, and their history stays in your workspace. Jobs don't use a slot either: only multi-stage projects like builds, refurbs and fit-outs do. Jobs are unlimited on Builder and Scale. Starter includes 50 a month across the workspace, in a project or not, and jobs we bring across when we move you never count. Users never affect the price: staff, subbies, clients, architects and certifiers are all free to add, on every plan.
Will you move us off our old system?
Yes, free, on every plan. Hand us the logins or exports and we map the data, bring it across and check it against the old system. From AroFlo we pull clients, sites, jobs, quotes, invoices, POs, timesheets, documents and photos. Prefer to do it yourself? AroFlo is a one-click import in onboarding (a full 5-year history takes about an hour). From Buildxact, ServiceM8, simPRO, Tradify or a spreadsheet, send us the export and we bring it across for you.
What is Footing Start?

Does it handle GST, ABN and BAS properly?
Yes. GST goes on every line automatically. ABN lookups validate against the ABR. Invoice numbering, BAS-friendly exports, AU date formats, AUD everywhere. Built in Australia for Australian builders.
